If you use FollowupBox to manage leads on behalf of your clients, you act as the data controller for that lead data. FollowupBox acts as a data processor. You are responsible for ensuring your collection and use of lead data complies with applicable laws and your own privacy policy.
5. Meta Platform Integration
FollowupBox integrates with Meta's platform (Facebook and Instagram) to capture lead data via Meta Instant Forms and Webhooks. This integration is governed by Meta's Platform Terms. We store the minimum data required to operate the integration, including Page Access Tokens which are encrypted at rest.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Sensitive credentials such as integration API keys and access tokens are encrypted before storage. Access to data is controlled by role-based permissions within the platform.
